Since our inception in 2009, USPA has connected sailing lovers from Metro Detroit, blending together novices and experts. Our unique approach promotes a vibrant atmosphere where everyone enjoys the thrill of sailing, resulting in unforgettable experiences and friendships built on shared adventures each week.

Our Journey

From Grassroots to Sailing Community

Founded in 2009, the United Sailing Party Association started as a grassroots initiative for sailors in Metro Detroit. Initially drawing just a handful of enthusiasts, we’ve grown into a lively community dedicated to enjoying sailing every week at Stony Creek Metropark, where fun is prioritized above all.
